StationSentry SMS Opt-In Flow — Reviewer Evidence

This page documents the complete end-user consent workflow for the StationSentry alert messaging campaign, including the enrollment interface (behind customer login, screenshots provided below) and the end-user confirmation step.

Step 1 — Administrator enters the requesting user (dashboard, login-protected)

The end user requests enrollment from their organization's station administrator. The administrator adds the user in the StationSentry dashboard. The enrollment form displays consent-confirmation language and requires an affirmative action; no pre-checked options are used.

Step 2 — End user must reply YES (double opt-in)

Upon enrollment, the end user immediately receives exactly one confirmation message:

StationSentry: [Administrator name] has requested to enroll you in pump station alerts from [Organization name]. Reply YES to confirm enrollment. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

No alert messages are ever sent to a number that has not replied YES. Contacts who do not confirm remain un-messaged and expire from the pending state.

Opt-out and help

STOP unsubscribes immediately (processed automatically; administrator notified for alerting-duty reassignment). HELP returns assistance information. Public enrollment documentation: stationsentry.com/sms-optin · Privacy Policy · Terms of Service.
